CentralCare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide Part Time (PRN) services at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in Fort Hood, Texas. This is a great opportunity for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to support our military and their families as civilian contractors (no military service required).
A Texas medical license is required for this position. If you do not currently hold a Texas license, we are happy to assist with the licensing process.
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Details:
Pay: Hourly (1099)
Availability: Part Time / PRN
Shift: Self-Schedule
Pager Call: YES
In-House Call: No
Contract Length: 1 year Preferred (opportunity to extend)
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Experience:
The contract CRNA shall…
Have two years’ experience in the last three years, prior to contract execution, as a CRNA (outside of training).
Be able to close encounters within seventy-two (72) hours of the patient encounter.
Have experience in the delivery of and monitoring of all types of anesthesia utilized in the delivery of obstetrical, epidural labor, and surgical anesthesia (i.e. general endotracheal, subarachnoid block and epidural, and IV regional techniques).
Have current experience (3 months or more in the past 12 months) in all anesthesia techniques.
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Qualifications:
Degree: Master's degree in nursing.
Education: Graduate from an academic program, approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs (COA).
Must have and maintain certification by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetist. Certified as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist from the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) or the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Texas.
Active BLS, PALS, and ACLS.
Must meet continuing medical education (CME) requirements
