East Carolina Anesthesia Associates is the largest private practice in North Carolina with divisions spreading across the state. This position is in the beautiful area of Gastonia, right outside of Charlotte. A brand new hospital in Belmont will be opening in 2024, and will be part of the Gastonia team.

CaroMont Regional Medical Center is a 435 bed not-for-profit Level III Trauma facility that has a Main OR, Outpatient Surgery Center, and Free-Standing Surgery Center. This is a full-time, W2, hourly position and compensation is highly competitive with any in the state.

This location is offering up to a $100,000 loan repayment/sign-on bonus after hire w/ a 5-year commitment, for new graduates and CRNAs with less an 2 years of experience. Additional sign-on bonuses are available based on experience.

Base salary is $191,000 for new graduates, with increases every year for 5 years.

Retention bonuses of $5,000-15,000 are given based on years of service.

Offering $5,000 in relocation assistance for CRNAs that live over 100 miles from the site.

Casework is a nice variety; all types of cases are performed except transplants and pediatric general surgery (except pediatric ENT).

The CRNA will only be on call if they join the call team. Second call is only 5 times per year.

The benefit package consists of two plans to choose from, an HDHP and a PPO option; ECAA covers employee cost with HDHP option. The practice also offers dental, vision, covers long-term disability, offers short-term disability, covers life insurance and malpractice and offers a 401K with match.

Due to its location being halfway between the mountains and the beaches in North and South Carolina, Gastonia offers a wide variety of activities for those who enjoy outdoor activities, from water sports, to skiing, from hiking, to mountain biking and rock climbing. Gastonia is close to the city of Asheville, twenty minutes from Charlotte and less than twenty minutes from the South Carolina border offering a variety of culture experiences, restaurants and college sporting events.
