Hours/Stipend info: 8-hour shifts, $250/week car stipend, $110/day lodging stipend. No on-call, OT is not expected but offered.

About the Facility: Riverside Smithfield Hospital
This brand new hospital will be opening its state-of-the-art facility in the beginning of January 2026, providing care and access to high-quality health care for families across Isle of Wright County and surrounding communities. Hospital services provided will include a 24/7 emergency department, inpatient medical and surgical care, an ICU, imaging, lab services, and more.
CRNA - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)
Pre-anesthesia assessment
Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
Performance of clinical intervention as needed
CRNA - REQUIREMENTS
Have graduated from an accredited program in nurse anesthesia education.
Must be certified by the National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
Shall be licensed as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and possess a current, valid, unrestricted license in the state of Virginia.
Have at least one full year (12 months) of experience as a CRNA.
Possess BLS and ACLS certification.
