About this Job  

In addition to his/her routine clinical duties as a staff Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), he/she is responsible for all quality initiatives and proactively and collaboratively promotes high quality, cost-effective anesthetic care by leading interactions with hospital medical staff and administration.

Just an hour outside of Nashville, this small-town getaway is known for its quiet history and southern charm. This quaint, little town is packed with activities to do such as several golf clubs, wineries and breweries, and shopping centers. This town also hosts several fairs and festivals so there’s bound to never be a boring moment. 


About the Facility: Cookeville Regional Medical Center is a 247-bed regional medical center serving more than 300,000 residents in the Upper Cumberland region of middle Tennessee. Located just off I-40 between Nashville and Knoxville,  The medical center has been named one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for its cardiac, orthopedic and spine surgery programs and ranked number one in Tennessee for Overall Cardiac Services, Cardiology Services, Coronary Intervention, Overall Orthopedic Services and Joint Replacement.


Schedule: M-F 8 hour shifts with rotating call (4-5 call shifts per month)


Case Mix: General, Obstetrics, Gynecologic, Vascular, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, ENT, Urologic, GI, Podiatry, Pediatric Dental, Plastics


Call Requirements: Call is required, Post call guaranteed off
