About this Job
Deliver anesthesia care for a variety of inpatient surgical procedures, including general surgery, neurosurgical cases, and deep sedation/MAC
Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff, including RNs, surgical technologists, and anesthesia technicians
Provide preoperative assessments and patient education
Administer anesthetics safely and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
Manage ventilation and oversee physician-administered regional anesthesia
Respond to patient emergencies in coordination with the healthcare team
Document patient care and anesthesia management accurately in Epic EMR
Participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Work day shifts only (8, 10, or 12 hours) with no on-call or weekend requirements
Work Experience Required:
Not accepting new graduate candidates
Must have current NBCRNA certification and BLS, ACLS, PALS
Only fully licensed providers eligible; cannot be waiting to obtain state license
Locum coverage only; not for permanent hire
Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate - No lodging, flights or rental cars
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days- Temps have been requested
