We are looking for 1-2 FTE providers, requiring a minimum of 3 shifts per week and a 6-month contract to start. Team-Based Anesthesia: You will work in a Medical Direction model, alongside an MD and potentially an SRN A, though you will not work solo. Assignments include providing hands-on care and rotating for break/lunch coverage. High-Volume Surgical Focus: The hospital averages 65 cases per day across all locations (up to 350 cases per week). UPMC Shadyside specializes in complex procedures, including Surgical Oncology with intraoperative chemoperfusion. Diverse Case Mix: Assignments cover the Main OR, On-Site ASC, GI Lab, EP Lab, and Radiology. Service lines include complex neuro, cardiac, robotics, major vascular, Ortho, ENT, Urology, and GI. There is no OB coverage.
