Our expanding private practice is seeking a full-time (or part time) general anesthesiologist to provide coverage at our new ASC in Hamptons Roads and provide support to other ASCs in the Virginia Beach and Suffolk area. The physician can choose W2 or 1099 status, but substantial benefits are provided to W2 physicians. This is also a partnership track position should the incumbent desire a stake in ownership.

This is truly a flexible position with scheduling. We are willing to work with the right candidate for either full time or part time coverage. We will consider two weeks a month as well so there is a great deal of flexibility. Great for a physician just getting started in their career and still wants a full time position, or for the physician that is winding down to part time. Strong regional and block skills required, but willing to work with the right candidate. Schedule is Monday through Friday, no nights, weekends, call, and we offer paid holidays for full-time physicians. 2025 graduates are welcome to apply, especially if they have ties to the Virginia Beach area!

We are offering a $50,000 signing bonus for either full or part time coverage.

For the physician that is interested in full time, we offer:

Cases are mainly bread and butter outpatient surgical cases, general, abundance of ortho, ENT, urology, podiatry, healthy peds, gyn, some dental, etc. Strong regional skills desired for the new ASC, but can be developed over time if needed.

This pristine oceanfront town is beautiful place to settle down and there's lots to do year round, unlike other typical beach towns that are only busy during the Summer. There are many outdoor activities including watersports, hiking, wildlife parks, golfing and more. It is also within less than a 30 minute drive to the closest international airport, convenient for those who like to travel often.
