About the clinician's workday

This opportunity offers 5x10-hour shifts with overtime after 50 hours and no call. The case load includes orthopedics, general surgery, urology, neurosurgery, vascular, gynecology, ENT, renal transplants, thoracic, plastics, ophthalmology, a variety of NORA procedures, and pediatrics at a Level 1 trauma facility and tertiary referral center. There are 35 ORs in the main hospital, plus cath lab, EP, and IR suites. The team consists of approximately 50 MDs, 70 CRNAs, and 25 residents. Providers will have a mix of hands-on cases and supervision, typically overseeing 1:3 CRNAs, but may occasionally need to run a room if someone calls out, so flexibility is required.
