About the clinician's workday
The anesthesiologist will deliver comprehensive anesthesia care for diverse surgical cases including general surgery, orthopedic procedures with heavy emphasis on regional blocks, and obstetric services managing 650-700 annual deliveries. The clinician will work Monday through Friday from 7AM to 5PM with preferred 10-hour shifts in a light supervision model maintaining 1:2-4 CRNA ratios. The position requires 50% hands-on patient involvement, autonomous practice capability, and competency in epidural placement while excluding cardiac and neurosurgical procedures. Board certification is mandatory with no required call coverage, though voluntary weekend call remains available for interested clinicians.
