The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University, seeks applicants to join our Critical Care Division. This position will provide direct patient care in an inpatient setting and assess complex acutely, critically and chronically ill patients for urgent and emergent conditions. The position will also supervise clinical providers including resident and fellow physicians and advanced practice providers. Candidate should have experience in multidisciplinary critical care. Transplant and cardiovascular surgery, advanced heart failure, ECMO, and medical-surgical critical care experience are expected. Candidate must have a strong commitment to an academic career in critical care medicine. Active participation in education, research, quality improvement and clinical practice is expected.
