Orlando Health is seeking a BE/BC Anesthesiologist for Orlando Health Sebastian River Hospital in beautiful Indian River County. The hospital is 178 -bed comprehensive medical and surgical facility serving the communities along Florida’s Treasure Coast. The case mix ranges from GI, Ortho, General Sx, Thoracic, Vascular and GYN. The responsibility in this position is to deliver an exceptional patient experience with safe, up to date care, while acting as a catalyst to expand the organization’s mission and achieve its vision.

Essential Functions

• Collaborative member of anesthesia department to work with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals

• Evaluate and formulate anesthetic plan for patients undergoing surgical and/or diagnostic care

• Supervision/Medical Direction of certified anesthetists delivering anesthesia

• Personally administer anesthesia intraoperatively with continuous monitoring of vital signs and titration of anesthesia needed

Role Requirements

• Anesthesiologists must be either an M.D. or D.O. with the completion of an approved ACGME or AOA Anesthesiology Residency program.

• BE/BC in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology or the American Osteopathic Association

• Schedule is 7 on 7 off with call included on your 7 days on.

• Open to new graduates and experienced Anesthesiologist

• Training in advanced regional anesthesia and nerve blocks highly preferred

• Florida medical license prior to start
