The hospital-stroke certified facility which is trauma level 3 requires a provider to deliver ongoing coverage for approximately 1 to 2 weeks per month, with a required minimum commitment of 7 to 14 shifts per month. The practice structure operates on a Clinic and Call model, and candidates must be fully willing to cover both night and weekend shifts to support the permanent staff. Support staff supplied for this coverage includes RNs, MAs, PA/NPs, and office staff. The estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days. Providers are not required to supervise advanced practice providers, nor is resident or teaching supervision required.
