Anesthesia Opportunity:

Permanent FT opening with established independent anesthesiology group, easily accessible to 100+ miles of beaches on the Outer Banks, 90 miles from Triangle area in North Carolina, 90 miles from Richmond VA! The hospital is close enough to Lake Gaston for the MD to live on the lake and be within the required 30-minute call back time. Competitive compensation and benefits package and only work 26 weeks per year!

-Well-established, large, independent anesthesiology group.

-The physician will work in an anesthesia care team medically directing CRNAs

-A hospital-based position. Bread and Butter case mix (General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, Ophthalmology). Plenty of opportunity for regional anesthesia.

-Rotation site for UNC-G School of Anesthesia, so there is opportunity to teach students .

- Two anesthesiologists will split a full-time position using a week on/week off schedule unless otherwise mutually agreed on.

- Anesthesiologist is on home call during the week and call backs are infrequent. CRNAs cover labor epidurals, and MD is called back to medically direct OR cases and C-sections.
