Providence Anesthesiology Associates seeks a BC/BE physician to join their six physician group in Salisbury NC. The position is for a full-time Anesthesiologist Generalist performing CRNA supervision and collaboration in a care team model. This role includes a retention bonus, with $10,000 paid after six months of employment and an additional $10,000 paid after one year.

The group primarily covers cases at Novant Health Rowan Regional Medical Center and it’s associated outpatient surgery center. The group is well established and has an excellent relationship with the hospital administration and physician staff.

Coverage includes all Anesthesia cases in the hospital including OR cases, Non-OR cases, OB Epidurals and outpatient cases. Coverage includes a wide variety of cases including General, Bariatric, OB/GYN, Ortho, Spine, ENT, Vascular and limited Trauma. No complex peds. No hearts.

Candidate must be proficient in regional anesthesia including U/S guided blocks. Candidate must have good communication skills and be able to work and collaborate well with CRNAs and other physicians.

Call is approximately one in six nights and every sixth weekend. Compensation, vacation and benefits will be determined based on experience and will be competitive with the market.
