United Digestive is currently seeking a Full Time Anesthesia Medical Director in the Metro Atlanta Area! No Nights/Weekends/Holidays

The Anesthesia Medical Director at GI Anesthesia of Georgia (GIA) will oversee all anesthesia services at United Digestive-affiliated endoscopy centers. Responsibilities include evaluating administrative, clinical, and programmatic needs, ensuring quality and safety in anesthesia care, supervising CRNAs and CAAs, and performing anesthesia care as needed. This role involves collaborating with the Endoscopy Governing Body and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and accrediting regulations. Key duties include policy development, quality assurance, staffing, budgeting, and patient safety. Clinical responsibilities include pre-anesthesia evaluations, airway management, emergency response, and post-anesthesia care.

Qualifications include board certification in anesthesiology, a minimum of five years of anesthesia experience, and leadership skills. The role also requires excellent communication and the ability to collaborate across departments. Regular professional development through meetings and continuing education is expected.
